Laurel’s House of Horror, a haunted complex built inside an abandoned movie theater, presents Maryland’s newest attractions: “Escape the Movies” and “Nightmare at the Movies” escape rooms. After two successful seasons as Maryland’s scariest haunted attraction, we’ve decided to not only challenge your fears… but now your MIND!

Our elaborate escape rooms are open all year long, from Wednesday – Sunday each weekend. Our featured attractions are titled “Escape the Movies” and “Nightmare at the Movies”. Both feature iconic scenes from your favorite record-breaking horror films (see below). Whether it’s solving intricate puzzles or racing the clock to escape Jigsaw, Michael Myers or Freddy Krueger, your limits will be tested in an attempt to truly Escape the Movies… or become our next victims trapped inside the haunted theater! “Escape the Movies” and “Nightmare at the Movies” are reservation-only attractions, perfect for small and large groups: it’s team-building, mind-challenging fun in four distinctive escape rooms.

Groups will be limited to 8 players per game session.

  • Email Verified Amazing escape room

I've done many escape rooms but this one adds a few different things. There were 4 rooms to complete and actually had a few pop scares. Highly recommended.
