This historic inn dates back to the 1730s and stories say the ghost that resides here saved it from being destroyed in a fire. The ghost is believed to be Madeline Dahlgren, and she was said to have opened a door that normally remains shut, which allowed an employee to smell the smoke coming from the fire.
