  • A strange visit

My parents and I went through Port Deposit on our way to Pennsylvania. We stopped for a beer and to stretch our legs. I had a really strange feeling about about our car. I kept going an looking at it. When we left, our car had moved across the driveway pointing in the opposite way. We walked out and talked about and again I felt weird so we jumped in the car and left! I've told people about this and most didn't believe me. That's the creepiest feeling I've ever had.

  • Haunted for sure

I spent a lot of time in the bar areas of the Union Hotel and have experienced several things. I was in "the cellar bar" one night and felt my bar stool shift as if someone had kicked it. I looked down at the worn brick floor and figured it had just shifted because the floor was uneven, adjusted my stool to be secure and thought no more about it. A few minutes later, however, it happened again, only this time it was HARD. I immediately got up and told the bartender that I may be crazy, drunk or both, but I'm pretty sure someone kicked my stool. "Oh yeah, that's the ghost's stool. Just move to a different one. That happens all the time" I reccomend this place regardless. I love the cellar bar. It's all candle lit and really feels like going back in time, plus the food is really good. Best burgers around. Haunted stool is on the left side of the bar, in case anyone's interested.

  • REAL THING NOT JUST A STORY

I worked there for years and it is haunted. Multiple times I felt someone watching me after closing when I had to go punch out behind the kitchen area heard door open and close. Kitchen door opening and closing(swinging door)could be heard from upstairs in the owners owner's quarters and . Saw little boy outside near the bushes running around playing. Log cabin bar has spirits as well even though it isn't as old as the hotel. Phones battery dying and patron leave saying it was fully charged. Creepy man in the basement bar while working watching you and would spin valintine day decorations where ever I walked back and forth in the bar. True story.
