This U.S. Naval Institute was once a home for the poor and mentally unstable, then a Civil War hospital. A former patient, a soldier named Jimmy Sutton who died here in 1907, is believed to haunt the place. Stories say he was shot during an argument over a woman. Other apparitions have also been spotted here, and haunting reports include cold spots, doorknobs that turn on their own, falling light fixtures, and an unseen presence that trys to push people down the stairs. The location has been featured on an episode of TV's Ghost Hunters.
