I was a former crew member while it was stationed on the west coast. Several times while in port and out to sea, I experienced feelings of not being alone while in several of our spaces. I was a Gunner’s Mate and often heard talking in the magazines while being alone. Some of the weapons department storerooms gave you a feeling of someone else with you. I returned to Taney in 2018 with my 38 year old daughter to visit . It is a ship everyone should experience.
