Witch's Tree
Whaleyville, MD 21872
This cypress tree stands gnarled and is quite bizarre looking. It is sometimes said to be located in Selbyville, Delaware, but is in fact on Swamp Road just over the state line in Whaleyville, Maryland. Those who visit the tree report feelings such as chills down their spine, eerie lights and orbs and strange sounds. Some say the hauntings are attributed to a witch that used to live nearby.

We got some action at the Witches Tree. First experience while I was using the pendulum I had the feeling someone was standing directly behind me. Know it was a spirit because of how cold it was. Second thing that happened. It sounded like someone was walking in the water at the tree. Sounded like 2 feet walking splashing water as they walked. We immediately looked and it stopped.

Nothing, nada. Unless you count a rather Misty looking fawn like animal that appeared at a distance. No orbs, sounds, touches(and I'm usually the one who gets touched),. EMF meter went nuts and spiked tho. Didn't see a really gnarled tree where it sent us, but to an eerie place where a large tree was cutdown..
