Pocomoke State Forest - Real Pocomoke City Haunt

Apparitions of slaves have been spotted here around the forest and the surrounding swamp area. Some say the ghostly slaves come from the slave abuse that used to take place here, as well as slave masters' affairs with slaves that yielded babies who were drowned in the swamp.
