Wasn’t there for ghost tour but smelled strange things

We went to the museum for a regular tour, so ghosts weren’t on our mind. In fact, we didn’t know the place was haunted until later that day when the tour guide mentioned it. I smelled something strange like burnt perfume. My husband couldn’t smell it. Also, I had just had an uneasy feeling.

It’s def. a hot spot

Was there on a rainy, quiet day during the week with my kid, then 12. We were the only people walking through. 1) I smelled perfume and neither of us wear perfume and 2) my kid and I both heard children laughing and running, and a dog barking, when we were in the last section of the museum on our way out to the lobby. I assumed that there were children and a dog (( in )) the lobby, but we came out, it was empty except for the cashier.
