This historic home now operates as a museum and is believed to be haunted by the ghost of Mrs. Frankie Mudd. Witnesses have reported unexplained voices, and during a Civil War reenactment, electric candles in the windows repeatedly turned on by themselves. Also, in one of the rooms where John Wilkes Booth stayed, a human-shaped impression appears on the bed quite often.
